The Air We Breathe
The Air We Breath Initiative is a project to help clean the air in school classrooms! Contact us to have us come to your classroom or school to teach about air pollution and build the DIY EPA approved air purifer with your students to use in the classroom! Students will track daily air quality using an indoor air quality monitor along with sick days! The DIY Air Purifier is 99% effective in reomving airborne virus, dust and allergines.
Did you know? One in thirteen kids ages 5 to 17 has asthma? Accounting for nearly 14 million lost school days each year. Many other kid's have allergies, compromised immune systems, attention issues, learning challenges and growing lungs. EPA studies of human exposure to air pollutants indicate that indoor air pollutants indicate that indoor levels of pollutants may be two to five times and occasionally more than 100 times higher than outdoor levels.
The DIY Air Purifier proven as effective as the Environmental Protection Agency recommened air purifiers. Invented by Richard Corsi, the incoming Dean of the University of California during the early days of covid. Wanting to create a cost effective air purifier anyone could make at an affordable price. The DIY Air Purifier is called the Corsi Rosenthal after Richard Corsi partnered with Jim Rosenthal, the owner of Tex-Air Filters.
