Grow a School Garden
Picking turnips from our schools garden my class planted! 🤣 My students were very hesitant to try them but being that they grew them they were excited. Naturally we had to do a turnip taste test and the turnips won! 7 to 6 😊
Water Literacy Lesson
Teaching my students about water literacy using @projectwet. They learned about rain and how it helps our environment. We even made upcycled rainsticks.

Vermiworm Composting!
Did your teacher ever bring worms to class? 🤣 I did!! I taught my students all about vermiworm composting and we made our very own for our classroom scraps.Yes, there was lots of squealing and laughter 😃 putting the worms in!We have so much food waste we throw out and these amazing red worms will turn our scraps into nutritious soil for our gardens!
