City of De Pere Declares - Green Schools Day - April 13, 2023 - Mayor Boyd reads the Proclomation!
Green Schools Rock is a free, inclusive program that is is committed to helping schools provide the healthiest learning environment possible by shaping kids to be green leaders in their schools and communities.
1. Celebrate this day by taking the Green Schools Rock Pledge!
Take the GSR Pledge and get a free GSR Pledge Teacher Packet for your classroom. The kit includes student coloring sheets!

2. Take one or more of the following sustainable actions!
- Start of Green Club at your school - Host a single use plastic drive at your school - Start a recycling program in your classroom or school - Conduct a school energy analysis - Create an awareness campaign about plastic waste by using single use bottle lids to create a piece of art that communicates the problem - Hold a go green event at your school and show a documentarty that looks into the climate crisis or plastic waste. - Check out additonal ideas, resources and tools at www.greenappleday.org -
