Green Schools Rock is a free, inclusive program that is committed to helping schools provide healthy learning environments by taking sustainable actions and shaping kids to be green leaders in their schools and communities.
Green Schools Rock is a pathway program to the US Department of Education’s "Green Ribbon Schools Program" which was started in 2011. We are also partners with the global movement Green Apple Day of Service.

Through Green Schools Rock classes and mentorship youth are implementing clean air, water and eco-friendly initiatives in their schools and community. School projects includere recycling, composting, indoor air quaility, no idling campaigns, reducing plastic waste and water conservation and in their communities green leaders are doing invasive species and water monitoring along with doing educational campains on novice and invasive plants and weeds! Teachers you can take the Green Schools Rock Pledge and encourage youth to become a GSR Youth Leader today. Together we can take a huge green step forward for our communities, children and our environment.
As a Certified Green Classroom Professional and a Certified Facilitator for Project Wet & Project Wild, I can train your teachers PreK-12th grade how to turn their classrooms green and work towards being a Green Ribbon School!
